HYDERABAD/KHAMMAM: Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao was administered fluids intravenously for the second time “much against his wishes”, nearly 24 hours after he resumed his indefinite fast at the Khammam district headquarter hospital on Wednesday.
But TRS leaders contended that Mr. Rao continued his fast for the third day and that the IV fluids were administered “forcibly” on the direction of the AP State Human Rights Commission.
‘Weak but stable’
Doctors said there was significant drop in Mr. Rao’s blood-sugar level of Mr. Rao. He was “weak” but “stable.”
