The Institute of Natural Healing, a nature cure hospital located amid serene location in Bommakal village on the outskirts of Karimnagar town has come as a ray of hope for the cerebral palsy patients, paralysis affected, trauma cases and other patients such as arthritis with efficient treatment and of course, naturally!.

Started in the early 1980s, the Nature Cure hospital has so far treated over 1,000 cerebral palsy (CP) patients, and other diseases such as spine problems, etc. The hospital is also providing servicing camp for lifestyle disorders for detoxification of body through steam bath, sauna bath, mud therapy, hydro therapy etc.

It has grown from 30 beds to 100 bed hospital, besides the six special cottages for the needy persons. On the other hand, the hospital has a special wing called Sri Sai Karunya Vibhag, which provides free accommodation, treatment and food with the help of sponsors for cerebral palsy patients.

The first batch student of Naturopathy College doctor T Amarender Rao instead of practicing in Hyderabad and other places preferred to start his profession in his native Karimnagar district in 1975. During the early stages, he used to do door-to-door service for the patients and created awareness among them about the importance of naturopathy and yoga.

He is the first person in the district to create awareness about the yoga and naturopathy by setting up hospital. Spread over eight acres of land, the Nature Cure hospital also grows vegetables without chemicals and fertilizers only through organic material. The founder of the hospital Dr T Amarender Rao, his wife Manjula, daughter Ujwala and son Vivek Chaitanya are all naturopathy doctors and are serving the patients at the hospital.

The hospital provides treatments such as yoga, meditation, hydro therapy, massage, magneto therapy, juice therapy, fasting, diet therapy, reiki, physiotherapy, clay therapy, acupressure, acupuncture, colour therapy, colon irrigation, enema, steam bath, sauna, sun bath, etc depending upon the necessity of patient.

They claimed that the hospital had achieved distinction in the treatment of backache, disc problems without surgery through various therapies.
