VISAKHAPATNAM: The Andhra Cultural and Welfare Society of New Delhi will organise a two-day Sangeeta Sammelanam and Srinivasa Kalyanam, the latter in association with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, at the Swarna Bharati indoor stadium here on Saturday and Sunday.

The society was functioning for the welfare of Telugu people in New Delhi for the last 30 years and conducting the music programme and Srinivasa Kalyanam for the last three years. It was for the first time that the two programmes were being held outside Delhi and in Visakhapatnam, said its convenor Vadlamani Satya Prasad at a press conference here on Thursday.

On the first day AIR artistes Dhulipala Srinivas, Nagaraju, Dwaram Satyanarayana will participate in a Jugalbandi of the veena, the flute and the violion and Kadri Gopalnath and troupe from Chennai will present a saxaphone concert on the second day.
