WARANGAL: Minister for Medical Education and Arogyasri Galla Aruna Kumari urged the private hospitals not to turn away those possessing Arogyasri cards and wanted them to offer all facilities as per rule. The Minister who was here to inaugurated the ‘Mediknow 2008’ as part of the Kakatiya Medical College golden jubilee celebrations became impatient when an individual complained that private hospitals were refusing to treat him despite possessing the Arogyasri card.

The Minister directed the district medical and health officer to take note of those private hospitals, which were refusing to treat the patients having Arogyasri cards and submit a report to her. “The private hospitals should not refuse any Arogyasri card holder.
