HYDERABAD: South Central Railway is cancelling/partially cancelling and diverting many passenger/express trains and providing temporary additional stoppages to facilitate the ongoing track doubling works between Bhakrapeta and Hastavaramu stations in the Gooty-Renigunta section of Guntakal division from February 5 and 22.

A press release issued by SCR stated here on Monday that while three passenger trains running between Dhone-Guntur and Donakonda-Guntur were fully cancelled from February 8 to 22, four passenger services were partially cancelled.

Among the trains diverted from February 6 to 22 are CST Mumbai-Kanyakumari Express leaving Mumbai (diverted to run via Gooty, Dharmavaram, Krishnarajapuram, Jolarpettai) and leaving Kanyakumari (diverted to run via Jolarpettai, Krishnarajapuram, Dharmavaram, Gooty) and Kachiguda, Chittoor Venkatadri Express (diverted via Secunderabad, Kazipet, Vijayawada, Guntur, Reniguta), and Chittoor-Kacheguda Venkatadri Express (diverted via Renigunta, Gudur, Vijayawada-Kazipet, Secunderabad).

The trains which will be provided temporary additional stoppages include Mumbai-Chennai Express, Chennai-CST Mumbai Express, Dadar-Chennai Egmore Express and Chennai-Egmore Dadar Express.
