VIJAYAWADA: A novel training course in rural and adventure tourism for youth from Prakasam, Nellore, Chittoor and Kadapa districts, organised by the regional office of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan in association with APTDC, began here on Tuesday.
APTDC divisional manager K.V. Venkateswara Rao, who inaugurated the programme, said more and more people were in search of interesting places and adventure during their leisure. Mr. Rao felt IT and other professionals were undergoing tremendous stress daily and they were looking for means to unwind themselves during the weekends. They could make ideal customers for this kind of tourism, he pointed out.
