HYDERABAD: Traffic will be stopped or diverted on some routes from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday in connection with the public meeting being organised by Bharatiya Janata Party at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad, the city traffic police have announced.
Vehicles coming from Balanagar crossroads heading towards Hyderabad have to ply via Balanagar, Sanathnagar and Ameerpet and Punjagutta while those going from Medchal to Hyderabad will have to take the Bowenpally-Balanagar-Fatehnagar-S.R. Nagar route.
Vehicles coming from Greenlands and going towards Tarnaka will ply via Rasoolpura and Minister’s Road.
Vehicles coming from Tarnaka and Secunderabad going towards Punjagutta will travel via Alugadda Bavi, Chilakalaguda, Musheerabad crossroads, Kavadiguda and Tank Bund.
Vehicles coming from R.P. Road and going towards Rajeev Rahadari (Karimnagar) will take diversion to Patny and go via Sangeet theatre, St. John’s Rotary, Shenoy nursing home, AOC and Bollarum.
Traffic from Karbala Maidan to Bowenpally will go to Ranigunj via Minister’s Road, Rasoolpura, Greenlands, Fatehnagar and Balanagar.
RTC buses from Begumpet going towards Secunderabad railway station will be diverted at CTO junction towards Paradise junction, Patny and Clock Tower.
RTC buses going from SRS to Begumpet will be diverted at Clock Tower towards Patny, Paradise and CTO junction. RTC buses coming from Rajeev Rahadari to Secunderabad will be diverted towards AOC centre, Shenoy Nursing Home, St. John’s rotary and Sangeet theatre.
RTC buses from Medchal and Bowenpally going towards Secunderabad will be diverted at CTO junction towards Paradise junction, Patny and Clock Tower.
Those coming from Hyderabad and going towards Rajeev Rahadari (Karimnagar) or Medchal will be diverted at Patny towards Paradise junction, CTO and Tadbun.
