HYDERABAD: The Christian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) headed by former Director General of Police and AP Tourism Development Corporation chairman Swaranjit Sen was launched here on Saturday.

Addressing a meeting organised at the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Sen said the new organisation would have secular aims and objectives. The CCCI would not make money, but would pave way for the all round development of Christians. It would make efforts to bring the members of the community into business since they were staying away from the activity.

National Commission for Minorities vice-chairman H.T. Sangliana formally launched the CCCI and unveiled logo with slogan “unified growth for excellence”. Chief Minister K. Rosaiah who was the chief guest of the meeting could not attend it because of official pre-occupation.

FAPCCI president K. Harishchandra Prasad welcomed the gathering and Indo Israel Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Ken Udai Sagar spoke.
