TIRUPATI: The Constructions Technicians Training Institute attached to the National Academy of Constructions proposed to offer through its Tirupati centre new trades like general works supervisor, plumbing and sanitation, painting and decoration and masonry and bar bending.

According to K. Sundar Ram, Assistant Director, NAC, Tirupati the Academy which has its centres in the district at Chittoor, Tirupati and Madanapalle are already providing training to unemployed especially from the rural areas in nine different trades covering modern building techniques to help them find livelihood. The NAC Computer Centre in Tirupati in particular is offering training in AUTO CADD and in computer basics, both lasting 120 hours. He said candidates in the age group of 18-35 are eligible for training in the centres.
