GUNTUR: For the tiny tots of Bhashyam Blooms, it was an afternoon they would remember for a long time. As the temperatures soared and the humidity was unbearable, the kids had a whale of time under the showers.
The showers were not from the sky though. The two volunteers who held water pipes were kept busy as they splashed water.
The event was a ‘rain dance’ organised by the school management in a bid to give break from the mundane academics.
It was a sight to see children have a splash of time under the cool showers. They came in droves from the classrooms and got ready to have plenty of fun under the showers. Adding to the cool showers was some high decibel music which made the event memorable. Singing and dancing to the tunes of latest songs, the children swayed and danced to their hearts content.
When the dance finally ended after an hour or so, the kids were drenched but excited at the unexpected offing.
