Three persons from different parts of the city were reportedly picked up for questioning by the police in connection with the Dilsukhnagar twin blasts case on Friday.

Mati-ur-Rahman alias Zaid was taken away by policemen in plainclothes when he went to his grandparents’ house in Rahmathnagar. He lives in Gulshan Iqbal Colony of Chandrayangutta.

A real estate businessman Abrar-ul-Hasan from Akabarbagh of Saidabad was also taken away to an undisclosed location by the police in a four-wheeler after intercepting him at Dabeerpura fly-over.

In another instance, a student pursuing diploma programme in Fire Safety, Sk. Aqil, was detained for questioning by the police in the case. He resides at Bazarghat. Meanwhile, the family members of Adnan, who was missing for past three days, filed a habeas corpus petition in the High Court.

Adnan’s father earlier alleged that his son was picked up by policemen in plain clothes three days ago.
