HYDERABAD: The police on Monday seized three antique Qurans after arresting two real estate agents at TRT Quarters in Nallakunta.

Pankaj Kumar Parkee (30) and V. Ravi Kumar (45) were caught by the Commissioner’s Task Force (south) team on a tip-off, according to a press release issued.

The three Qurans, one of big size, another of medium size and the third a miniature one, were procured by Parkee’s elder brother Pavan Kumar years ago.

The first Quran was written on handmade paper and decorated with gold foil. The second book had gold and emerald lining. It also had two miniature paintings of Kaaba and Madina. N. Madhusudhan, another associate of the arrested duo, is still at large.
