HYDERABAD: Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ch. Vidyasagar Rao said here on Sunday that the Third Front had bleak chances in the context of CPI (M) general secretary hinting at the possibility of backing the Congress and the emergence of only the NDA and UPA seeking to occupy centrestage.

At a press conference, he welcomed the participation of Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the NDA rally at Ludhiana.

In this context, Mr. Rao hoped that the Telugu Desam Party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu would back the BJP-led alliance, although the party had not invited him.
