The voluntary blood donation camp organised by the The Hindu at Tata Projects Limited here on Tuesday was well-received, with more than 150 employees participating in the cause.
The month-long blood donation drive, which began on ‘World Blood Donors Day’ on June 14, was previously held at the office of The Hindu and the Deccan Club.
Naresh Kumar Sharma, Head (Marketing Communication) of Tata Projects said they were pleased to be associated with a humanitarian cause.
The next session of the drive will be held at Infotech Enterprises in the coming week.
Omega Hospitals is the associate sponsor of the event, which is being organised in partnership with the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM). The event is also being supported by the Deccan Club, Tata Projects and Infotech. TV5 and Red FM are the television and radio partners respectively of the event.
