Congress leaders slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party for its promise of carving out a Telangana State within three months of formation of a NDA government at the Centre, stating that the party is ‘daydreaming'.
‘No BJP in power'
PCC joint secretary P. Naveenkumar Reddy said the bifurcation of State would never happen as the BJP would never come to power. “Parties that have single digit strength in the Assembly speak of big things like bifurcation,” he mocked at the party.
While the scam-tainted party leaders are languishing in various jails, party leader Sushma Swaraj is trying to divert the attention of the public, he charged.
Mr. Reddy asked the party not to fish in troubled waters and rake up the Telangana sentiment, especially when the Kiran Kumar Reddy regime had successfully set right the frayed tempers in the State.
