Deadline fixed for November 15
Telangana Gazetted and Non-Gazetted employees on Thursday demanded the immediate constitution of the Tenth Pay Revision Commission (PRC) and release of white paper on the status of police cases against employees who had agitated for a separate Telangana in the past.
They said the government needed to concede these demands by November 15, failing which, the employees would resort to another agitation.

Addressing a press conference, Adilabad unit chairman of the Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers K. Ashok, president of the Telangana Gazetted Officers Union K. Satyanarayana and secretary of Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Union Vanaja said that white paper should be issued to end the confusion over the cases.
Home Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy and DGP Dinesh Reddy differed in making statements about cases on employees, they pointed out. The employee leaders urged all employees in the region to enrol themselves as voters for the impending MLC election from the Graduates' constituency. They said the employees should vote in the election to express their sentiment for the formation of a separate State.
Mr. Ashok also urged the district administration to take up appointments. He said that delay in the process was hindering the interests of the deserving.
