To equip differently abled persons with hardware programme and networking expertise, Prajwal Vani Welfare Society has inaugurated its training centre near Madhura Nagar here on Sunday. The centre provides technical education on cell phone mechanism, software courses like MS Office, Photoshop, AutoCAD, computer troubleshooting, electrical works, tailoring and other vocational courses free of cost.
Founder and president of Prajwal Vani Welfare Society K.V.L. Suchitra said that the technical training will make the students become independent. “A total of 17 professional students help in training 40 students at the centre in four batches. Having seven years of experience as a computer hardware trainer, Suchitra shows keen interest in training disabled-students of Class X and intermediate students apart from providing them placements.
A hardware networking technical guide ‘Computer Doctor’ written by Suchitra and compiled by Vattadi Harish, one of her former students, was also launched. It contains basic information on technical hardware solutions with simple protocols to be followed. Chairman of AP State Hindi Academy and executive chairman of Prajwal Vani Welfare Society Yarlagadda Lakshimi Prasad and District Supply Officer N. Jwala Prakash, among others also were present.
