As the dust settles down after the alliance between the TDP and the BJP ran into rough weather, both parties are now working together even as the date for final withdrawals of nominations, comes to a close in next few hours.

The allies held a series of meetings and it was agreed that senior TDP leader Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary would withdraw his nomination from Rajahmundry City constituency on Wednesday.

Mr. Chowdary left for campaigning in Rajahmundry Rural constituency on Tuesday, indicating that things were clear for the BJP in Rajahmundry City constituency.

TDP official spokesperson Ganni Krishna and BJP candidate for Rajahmundry City Akula Satyanarayana said the party’s decision was supreme every one should abide by it and work for the success of alliance partner.
