A day after drubbing in Kovur by-election, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has stated that it had failed to take the corruption of Kadapa MP and YSR Congress Party president Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy to the masses.
“An analysis of election results indicates that issue of Rs. 1 lakh crore corruption that took place during the Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy tenure did not percolate down to the masses,” said Myalvaram MLA and TDP district president Devineni Umamheswara Rao.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Mr. Rao said that the TDP would launch a massive campaign on corruption of Kadapa MP. The tainted ministers were confessing that they signed the GOs following instructions from Dr. Reddy or his close associate K. V. P. Ramachandra Rao. The CBI should enquire Dr. Ramachandra Rao also, he demanded.
