Naidu meets MLAs, MLCs at padayatra camp site

The Telugu Desam Party has decided not to take the initiative in moving a no-confidence motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy government.

At the two-hour meeting with 50 MLAs and 10 MLCs at his padayatra camp site near here on Thursday, party president N. Chandrababu Naidu asked the MLAs to be aggressive in attacking the government in all issues of public interest. The party will hold its polit bureau meeting in Krishna district on March 9 when a decision will be taken on the three candidates it is likely to field in the Council election, Mr. Naidu said.

If the MIM and YSR Congress move a no-confidence motion, the party will take a decision on merits and usefulness for TDP at that point of time, Mr. Naidu said. The YSRC was challenging the TDP to move the motion as it was not in a position to face the local body elections, the TDP chief said.
