Kadapa: Pattana Indira Kranthi Patham staff welfare association and association for protection of community organisers continued their relay hunger strike for the fourth day to force the government in fulfilling their demands.

The H.R. Policy G.O. R.T. No. 336 M.A., dated 28.02.2009, has not come into force on repeated memorandums submitted by the staff to the Chief Minister, Minister for Municipal Administration, the principle secretary M.A. and U.D. and the MEPMA mission director.

The Telugu Desam Party MLA of Proddatur Mr. Linga Reddy visited the hunger strike camp and heard the grievances of the members and immediately called upon the Minister Anam Ramnaraya Reddy and the MEPMA mission director Sunitha and urged them to take immediate action and do justice to the staff.


He later promised the staff members that TDP party will always work for the benefit of the people and fight against the government in case of dire situations.

Association President D. Gurukanta Gopinath, secretary L.Gangulaiah, T. Nagaraju, S. Bhavani and P.Subbareddy and other members at relay hunger strike camp thanked the MLA.
