VIZIANAGARAM: Telugu Desam Polit Bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said on Friday that the party’s manifesto would be ready by the second week of next month. The manifesto would reflect the people’s problems, solutions and allocation of grants for redressal. A committee to implement it would also be constituted, he said at a press conference here.

Making light of the merger of Nava Telangana Party with the Praja Rajyam, Mr. Ramakrishnudu said that those who had quit the party and joined the PRP were planning to come back to party fold but the TDP would not admit them. The PRP-NTP alliance would have no impact on the prospects of the Grand alliance. He said that the alliance, after coming to power, would scrap the proposal of coastal corridor and review the allocation of lands to SEZs.

With regard to ‘pavala vaddi,’ he said that the Congress government had extended loans not more than Rs.150crores whereas the revolving fund sanctioned during the five years of TDP regime was about Rs.220 crores.

On Abhaya Hastham scheme, he said that the eligible would be limited and those who had been getting old age pension of Rs.200 would sure to lose it. He criticised the government for issuing over 800 GOs in just two to three days time.
