Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders questioned the propriety of Telangana political JAC convenor Prof. M. Kodandaram for asking Telangana activists not to allow TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu to visit the region till he specified his stand on statehood clearly.

Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, TDP leader A. Revanth Reddy and M. Aravind Kumar Goud sought to know why the JAC and its patron TRS were fearing Mr. Naidu's visits to Telangana and creating nuisance every time. No other party was meeting people on their problems, but when Mr. Naidu was taking up the task, his visits were being obstructed.

They suggested Mr. Kodandaram to desist from political statements or else join TRS before doing so. They also criticised Ministers N. Raghuveera Reddy and V. Vasanth Kumar for questioning the right of Mr. Naidu to console MFI victims.
