TRS leaders had flayed the TDP President Chandrababu’s padayatra

Picking up the gauntlet thrown by the TRS leaders, the TDP district president A. Baswa Reddy and MLAs Errabelli Dayakar Rao and D. Sitakka have challenged the TRS activists to stall TDP president Chandrababu Naidu’s padayatra.

Mr. Baswa Reddy said the TDP cadre was fully geared up to meet any challenge and they would make the padayatra a grand success.

He advised the TRS leaders to stop talking cheaply and instigating innocent people. “The TRS leaders should attack the Congress party which went back on its promise. They should not look at the TDP, which is committed to the cause of Telangana,” the TDP district president said.

“The TRS leaders are unable to stomach the popularity and growing public patronage to Mr. Naidu in Telangana districts. They want to create hurdles and gain political mileage out of this. However, the TDP cadre would not remain a mute spectator,” he said.

Mr. Dayakar Rao came down heavily on TRS MLA Harish Rao.

“You should stop and question your uncle K. Chandrasekhar Rao who sold out the TNGO leaders and their strike to the Central government and Congress leadership. You should stop the Congress MPs and Ministers. You should stop the YSRC party leaders but not the TDP which has time and again vowed to fulfill the aspirations of Telangana people,” he said.

The TDP leaders of all regions would soon meet and decide as to who would represent the party at the all party meeting. “Whoever represents TDP at the Delhi meet, he will give only one opinion on the Telangana issue. There is no contradiction or division of opinion,” Mr Dayakar Rao explained.
