Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has alleged that Anil Kumar, son-in-law of former Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was taking shelter under the religion for his political campaign, and was involved in corrupt practices.

The party also challenged Anil Kumar to face an open debate on his illegal activities.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Telugu Desam Party state general secretary Varla Ramaiah said that Mr. Anil Kumar gave a religious tinge to his businesses.

Nobody knew how a Mr. Anil Kumar became businessman all of a sudden.

The people were wondering how he could become director of so many companies and amassed the wealth, he said, “I am ready for a debate with him on Sakshi channel.”
