The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) took a strong exception to serving of a notice on TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu to vacate the AP Bhavan in New Delhi.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, TDP official spokesperson Nannapaneni Rajakumari said that the Resident Commissioner of AP Bhavan served a notice on the TDP chief stating that the hunger strike was unauthorised.

The AP Bhavan was constructed for the welfare of Andhra people. The TDP leader has not committed any crime, and was holding fast for a good cause. “The officials gave permission to TRS leaders, who ransacked the AP Bhavan. Why don’t they give permission to the TDP leader?” she asked.

Lashing out at the Congress, she said that the TDP would expose the ruling party which was acting in tandem with the YSR Congress and the TRS for political gains over the issue of Telangana.

The Congress was playing politics in the wake of upcoming Lok Sabha election which is unfortunate.
