The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday accused the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activists of not consulting the party workers during the election campaign and violating the norms of the pre-poll alliance. BJP district leader Y. Malakondaiah, at a press conference here on Wednesday, said that the saffron cadre were putting in their sincere effort for the victory of the TDP nominees in the district, but the response from the TDP cadre had been lukewarm.

“They (TDP activists) are just keen on using the photographs of Narendra Modi, but not involving our party workers in the campaign,” he said.
