WARANGAL: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao advised Congress MP Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy to call of his proposed tour to Telangana region and not to instigate people further.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Mr. Dayakar Rao said one youth committed suicide opposing Mr. Jagan's tour and several other earlier gave their lives in support of separate Telangana. The students were on warpath and the movement was in full swing.

Jagan's tour was only aimed at instigating the people. It was his father later Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy who worked against the interests of Telangana people and sold away precious lands for a song. Telangana was discriminated during his term as Chief Minister than ever.

“The Congress leaders in the region were deceiving the people by enacting dramas. They say they are for separate Telangana and they themselves invite Mr. Jagan who opposed bifurcation of State in Parliament. Should he not console the families of those who died for separate Telangana?” Mr Dayakar Rao argued. The TDP would also join the people in stalling the rally of Mr. Jagan in the district. Mr. Dayakar Rao also came down heavily upon the TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao. The TRS was exploiting the students and playing with their lives. Both the TRS and Congress leaders were trying to damage the image of TDP, he said.
