Tarimela Nagi Reddy’s economic predictions have come true: speakers

Speakers at the seminar on contents of the book ‘India Mortgaged’ authored by the late Tarimela Nagi Reddy, a revolutionary communist leader stated that the late communist leader predicted in his book authored in 1978 that rulers in India would one day take an about turn from the protectionist policies it was pursuing and open up all sectors to foreign direct investment and surrender its economic sovereignty to the imperialist powers.

He had rightly analysed the developments of the near future in the country based on the trends of the day and the possible emergence of globalism and the one worldism that would be the order of the day decades ahead. The author presented a blue print of the turn the economics the country would take in near future and how India would become causality to the evil designs of the world imperialist powers.

The president and secretary of Tarimela Nagi Reddy (TNR) Memorial Trust Sudhir Reddy and P. Jaswanth Rao in their observations on the book authored by TNR, described his predictions on economic scenario of the country as very apt and befitting to the present day, as the present UPA government dispensation gives final touches to the total surrender of all sectors to the FDI. Sambalpur university professor Golak Biharinath also spoke.
