Relentless search operation in Kothapet tank launched
NALGONDA: After a relentless search operation in Kothapet tank in Kethepally mandal, the swimmers could eventually fish out the body of Bogala Lingaiah on Friday morning.
The divers and swimmers, who resumed the search operation on Thursday night following the intervention of Superintendent of Police Vijay Kumar, faced many hurdles to find the body, as the tank was full of weed and silt. They had to give a break to the operation late last night. The SP told The Hindu that the body was fished out at 7 a.m.
Lingaiah was working as the guard of the tank. The other three victims were: Bandaru Yadagiri, headmaster of Ramachandrapuram primary school in Suryapet mandal, Ogeti Ramanarasaiah, teacher of Perkakondaram of Saligowraram mandal and Avirineni Venkataiah of Aamanagal (Vemulapally).
