Telugu Desam Party Prakasam district president Damacharla Janardhan on Friday exhorted the party cadre to strive hard to bring back past glory to the party taking a cue from party president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s long march.

Flagging off a special train from here to take party activists to Visakhapatnam for a massive public meeting to mark the conclusion of Mr. Naidu’s ‘Vastunna Meekosam Yatra’ on Saturday, he said “we should take inspiration from Mr. Naidu, who has been striving to bring the party closer to the people and contribute our might for a glorious future for the party”.

Maintaining the present tempo, the party chief would undertake a bus yatra in the district in June, he said as the activists from 10 of the 12 Assembly constituencies in the district joined him in the train journey.

Activists from Yerragondapalem and Giddalur would go by road to Visakhapatnam, he added.
