VISAKHAPATNAM: TICES '10, a national-level students technical symposium, commenced at GITAM University here on Wednesday.
JNTU Hyderabad's Director (admissions) A. Vinay Babu inaugurated the TICES, being organised by the students of Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology Departments.
About 600 students from various government and private engineering colleges are participating in the two-day meet, which has ‘illumination of cognition' as its theme.
Dr. Vijay Babu said that technical symposiums would help the students to know the new concepts and technologies in their field. He advised the students to understand the latest development in the IT sector.
Advice to students
GITAM Pro Vice-Chancellor D. Harinarayana pointed that quantity of human resources in India was increasing but shallow relations were increasing. He advised the students that intellectual properties would shine only with ethics and values.
