HYDERABAD: The Chennai-based M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) is offering a four-week residential vacation training programme for students of Class X from May 3 on biotechnology and biodiversity conservation. Only 30 students from Andhra Pradesh are entitled to participate in the programme.
According to a press release of the foundation issued on Thursday, the participating students will be exposed to a variety of topics in the broad area of biotechnology and biodiversity conservation. Representation of boys and girls will be equal in the programme to be concluded on May 29. Applications and nominations of students from schools may be sent to the Director, Biotechnology Programme, M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation, Taramani, Chennai – 600 113.
Students are encourage to apply for the workshop by enclosing their bio-data, bonafide certificate from the school and one-page note citing reasons for their willing to participate in the programme.
The last date for applications to reach the foundation is April 10. The successful students will be intimated by email or post.
