Yashoda Group of Hospitals has come up with a unique project to encourage children aspiring to become doctors in the future.

From June 1, Yashoda Hospitals is launching a four-day free summer camp titled ‘Young Doctors' Camp' for ninth standard students (who will be joining tenth standard this academic year) in which students will be introduced to the world of medicine, press release said.

Selected students in the camp will participate in activities like learning about medical practice, tour the hospital facility for awareness on various medical departments, practically observe diagnostics and outpatient departments. The students will also have group work, classroom session like lectures, surgery videos, and quizzes every day, the press release added. Except for casualty and operation theatres, students will be allowed to explore other departments of the hospital.

Students wishing to participate in the camp have to submit their latest report card and write an essay on the topic ‘Why you want to be a part of the Yashoda's Young Doctors' Camp?' and send the entry by May 28 to the hospital.

The camp will be conducted at Secunderabad, Somajiguda and Malakpet. For details log on to ‘www.yashodahospitals.com'.
