Students need to have a vision, constructive planning and implementation to achieve success in life, said V.V. Lakshminarayana, former Joint Director of CBI.

He inaugurated three-day State Youth Convention on Wednesday in Arts College grounds, organised by Ramakrishna Mutt, Rajahmundry branch, on the eve of 150th birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Lakashminaryana recalled that Swami Vivekananda always asked the youth to introspect on what they were and how they were useful to the society.

He suggested not to show sympathy towards anyone and to be empathetic while serving the needy.

Sri Raghunathananda of Belur Mutt and MLA Rowthu Suryaprakasha Rao spoke on the occasion. Earlier, hundreds of youths gathered at Swami Vivekananda statue near Kambala Tank and Swami Kapaleesananda, Yogapriyananda along with Mr. Lakashminaryana and “Bharatiyam” Satyavani garlanded the statue.
