Members of the Samaikya Andhra Rashtra Vidyarthi Joint Action Committee (SARV-JAC) on Wednesday threatened to launch a massive agitation from June 1 if the state government did not announce the date for written test for Sub-Inspectors' recruitment.

‘Long wait'

SARV-JAC district convener Rayapati Jagadeesh and town convenor P Nagaraj told reporters that unemployed people had been waiting for long for the conduct of the written test for filling up vacancies in the post of SIs.

''Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy should come out with the announcement before this month end. We will have no option but to embark on agitation from June one if there is no positive response from the Government to our just demand'', they added.
