Students of Paramita educational institutions and Irish World School made an impressive show of their creative skills during the two-day Explorica-2013, the 21st century skill station organised by them at the sprawling Circus grounds here on Friday and Saturday.

Several computer programmes developed by them won accolades from the visitors. The creation of Hollywood visual effects on the screen was a huge attraction, apart from other computer projects on subjects such as extinction of wildlife, save girl child, pollution, Indian festivals, functioning of railway reservation system, etc. The stalls on Hindi and Telugu languages also had good attractions with presentations on festivals, poets and other issues.

The power-point presentations on various subjects were also good.

The students also developed other working models such as generation of power through cycle pedalling, sprinkler irrigation system, wind power, solar power, etc. They also enlightened the visitors about the importance of ayurveda and protection of plants through their presentations.

In the evenings, they presented colourful cultural programmes, including classical dances on various themes such as protection of girl child, mother and other issues, for the entertainment of visitors.

Schools chairman E. Prasada Rao and others were present and appreciated the works of students.
