Rajahmundry: Some 100 stalls arranged in and around the Pushkara Ghat attracted good crowds during the four-day Godavari Utsav.

Most of the stalls arranged by different NGOs had some message or the other. However, stalls put up by artisans drew blank. "There were literally no sales, we simply passed the time. We were at loss," said K. Santhi, who had a stall selling bamboo articles.

Special vehicle

About hundred modules, magic box, filtration system, easy mathematical systems, National Programme on Education for Girls at elementary level were some of the items on display. SSA State monitoring officer N. Upender Reddy congratulated the team for the stall. Another stall by Ch. Satish on Bonsai trees was a hit with women.
