: The Justice Srikrishna Committee has done a ‘good job' in gathering all the opinions and giving six options which need a detailed study, said Praja Spandana president C.S. Rao.
Gathering opinions from the people at a time when tempers are high would not be the right thing to do.
He said that the best option under the present circumstance was to impose President's Rule for sometime and then take the opinion of the public when the dust settles.
The State Government should be kept in suspended animation.
The gathering of opinions should be done by independent agencies like NGOs that have no interest in either region. Disagreeing with the development plank, Mr. Rao said that power-hungry elements in Telangana and Rayalaseema were seeking bifurcation for their own selfish gains.
