The air travellers can go to Hyderabad in the morning and return in the evening

It is possible due to night-landing facility

The airline will provide the service twice a day

VISAKHAPATNAM: For the first time in the history of Visakhapatnam an ordinary traveller can go to Hyderabad in the morning, spend the entire day and return in the evening.

Thanks to the newly available night landing facility and availability of flight services, SpiceJet, one of the country’s best low cost airline, will have the privilege of providing this kind of facility twice in a day between Visakhapatnam and Delhi and Visakhapatnam and Mumbai both via Hyderabad, from March 30.

According to Chief Commercial Officer of SpiceJet Limited, Samyukth Sridharan, the flight will leave Hyderabad at 6.45 a.m. to reach Visakhapatnam at 8.15 a.m. The flight will again leave Visakhapatnam at 8.40 a.m. to reach Hyderabad at 9.45 a.m.

The evening flight would leave Hyderabad at 6.10 p.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam at 7.20 p.m.

It would again leave Visakhapatnam at 7.50 p.m. to reach Hyderabad at 9.05 p.m.

In that way it caters to those both in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam to complete their work and return on the same day. It is something the air travellers had been demanding for quite some time.

The flight to Delhi is in the morning and the one to Mumbai is in the evening, via Hyderabad.

New fleet

Mr. Sridharan said that SpiceJet at a present had a fleet of 18 new aircraft and had plans to add five aircraft every year.

Visakhapatnam was its 19th station as it was already operating from 18 cities in the country, he added..

Chief Financial Officer of the airline, Partha Sarathi Basu said that SpiceJet had recorded the highest load factor of over 80 per cent since its inception and also had an enviable 99.5 per cent flight dispatch reliability in the industry. Its market share today was around 11 per cent.
