A pair of weekly special express trains (No. 06336/ 06335) are being run by the Railways to clear extra rush of passengers between Kochuveli and Dibrugarh.

Train No. 06336 from Kochuveli to Dibrugarh weekly special express train will leave Kochuveli on Tuesdays at 8.15 p.m. on December 3, 17 and 31 and on January 14 and reach Visakhapatnam on Thursdays at 3.40 a.m. and leave at 4 a.m. and reach Dibrugarh at 9.55 a.m. on Saturdays.

In the return direction, train No. 06335 Dibrugarh to Kochuveli weekly special express train will leave Dibrugarh on Sundays at 00.15 hours (mid-night of Saturday) on December 8 and 22 and on January 5 and 19 and reach Visakhapatnam on Tuesdays at 3.15 a.m. and leave at 3.35 a.m. and reach Kochuveli on Wednesday at 11.45 a.m.

These pair of trains will also stop at Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur and Vizianagaram between Kochuveli and Dibrugarh over the East Coast Railway.


These trains consist of one 2nd AC coach, two 3rd AC coaches, four sleeper class coaches, six general second class coaches, six second class sitting coaches and two second class luggage- cum-sitting coaches in its composition, according to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair Division M. Yelvender Yadav.

Meanwhile, East Coast Railway has issued a travel advisory to rail passengers and opened helpline numbers in the wake of super cyclone Lehar as the train services are likely to be affected in the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh on November 28 and 29.

Though no train services are cancelled or diverted as yet, passengers can dial emergency helpline numbers in Visakhapatnam on: 2843003, 2843004, 2843005, 2843006 and 2575083 for latest information.
