A pair of Weekly special express trains (06336/06337) between Guwahati and Kochuveli will be run by the Railways during Durga Puja season. These trains will clear extra rush of passengers during the Puja season and provide better comfort, said a Railways press release. The pair of weekly train services will be run with effect from October 11.

 Train No.06337 Guwahati – Kochuveli Express will leave Guwahati on Thursdays October 11 to November 1 at 12.15 p.m. (afternoon) will arrive at Visakhapatnam on Saturdays at 1.30 a.m.

It will leave at 1.50 a.m., reach Vijayawada at 7.25 a.m. and leave at 7.40 a.m. to reach Kochuveli at 6.50 a.m. on Sundays.

 Train No.06336 Kochuveli-Guwahati express will leave Kochuveli at 5.00 p.m. on Sundays from October 14 to October 28 and will arrive/depart at Vijayawada 5.40 p.m./5.55 p.m. on Mondays, and Visakhapatnam at 12.10 a.m. (mid-night) and leave at 12.30 a.m (mid-night) early hours of Tuesday, and reach Guwahati at 2.00 p.m. on Wednesday.

This pair of train will have one AC 3-Tier, three Sleeper Class coaches, Eleven General second class coaches, Six second class sitting coaches and two Second Class cum Luggage compartments.

The trains stop at Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Asansol, Durgapur, Malda town, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar Jn. Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon and Goalpara Town.
