Special job mela was conducted here on Tuesday for the tribal youth for their recruitment in leading software companies like IBM, WIPRO, Infotech, and others. Tribal youths in large numbers turned up at the mela which was addressed by ITDA Project Officer C. Naga Rani. The mela was conducted under the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme.

Ms. Naga Rani said the private companies were providing facilities to their staff on par with the government. She further said that the government was taking steps to expand the IT sector.

Field visit

Later, Ms. Naga Rani launched the field visit of 25 fishermen in Rampa Chodavaram.

Speaking on the occasion, the official said that 100 fishermen took up fish cultivation in an acre each in the Agency area. The fishermen would get awareness on modern management systems, water management, health management, fish catch and marketing during their visit to the areas like Undi, Akiveedu, and Kikaluru.
