Rajahmundry: Superintendent of Police Y. Nagi Reddy on Friday said they instructed Rajahmundry DSP and traffic police to keep a special focus on traffic situation in the town. He also said he had interacted with the Mayor and the Municipal Commissioner on this issue and will take their help in regulating the traffic.

The SP visited three police stations in the town on Friday. He said that he had visited agency area to study the situation. He said three Maoist dalams were active in Rampachodavaram Agency and some Maoists were coming from Orissa.

He combing operations were being taken up regularly.

He said they would launch a special drive to prevent house breakings, burglaries during the summer season. He asked the sub-inspectors to form Mythri associations to keep night vigil. DSP S. Saibaba, CI Trinatha Rao, SIs Baig, Balakrishna and others participated.
