Students from the AP Social Welfare Residential Junior Colleges across the State have recorded a remarkable performance in the Intermediate examinations, surpassing their own performance last year.
The schools notched up an overall success rate of 84.34 per cent, up from last year’s 74.95 per cent. Of a total of 14,195 students who appeared for the exams this year, 12,034 have succeeded this year, Secretary, AP Social Welfare Residential Education Society (APSWRES) R.S. Praveen Kumar said in a statement.
Of the 210 colleges across the 23 districts, 18 colleges have secured cent percent results. Girls have recorded a pass percentage of 85.34 and boys, 83.67.
About 1,500 students from these colleges have been selected by the Society to attend EAMCET coaching camps.
