Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST) has denied deficiencies with regard to required built-up area, faculty strength and receipts for miscellaneous payments.

In a statement here, the SNIST management termed reports appearing in a section of the media as false and misleading.

The college said it has faculty strength of 293, as against the required 285. All of them were eligible for their positions, it said.

The college has also implemented the Sixth Pay Commission scales for eligible employees from December 1, 2012. Similarly, the college has a built-up area of 33,392 Sq. mts as against the required 26,197 Sq. mts area to run seven UG programmes and eight PG programmes.

“All the records are available and can be verified,” the statement said.
