The Police Department undertook a major reshuffle of Sub-Inspectors in view of completion of training of newly-recruited officers on Sunday.

In all 92 officers, including 48 probationary SIs and 44 Sub-Inspectors, were posted to different stations in the district.

After issuing orders, Superintendent of Police M. Sivaprasad asked the officers to take visible policing by acting on complaints against eve-teasing, ragging and traffic issues.

Also, he wanted them to be available to public and take major steps to control thefts and traffic problems which usually hurt the common public.
