Small coins distributed

Officials of the State Bank of India, main branch, distributed small coins to the tune of Rs. 2 lakh to about 300 people at Poorna Market on Sunday. Following RBI guidelines to help the common customer overcome shortage of small coins the bank hadtaken up such activity on a regular basis, SBI AGM B.Satyanarayana said. Further, this would help the bank reach out to the public, he added. Branch officials and employees Kameswara Rao, Sriramamurty, Satya Bhaskar, Lakshmana Rao and Srinivasa Rao also participated, according to a statement issued here.
