The dismembered bodies of a young unidentified couple, aged between 20 and 22 years, were found on the track at Nalgonda Railwal Station in the small hours of Friday. They either committed suicide on were run over by train coming from Secunderabad. They were probably lovers, Nalgonda Railway Police said.
The severed bodies were found by onlookers, who informed the Two Town Police, who in turn gave the information to V. Venu, SHO, Nalgonda Railway Police. While the girl was found wearing a red Punjabi dress with pink ‘chunni', the youth is with blue jeans and light green shirt with wheat-coloured stripes.
The bodies were shifted to the Government Hospital, Nalgonda. The post-mortem is to be conducted after suturing the bodies. They will be preserved in the hospital mortuary for identification.
Meanwhile, a case of a young couple missing has been registered by Mahabubabad police in Warangal district. Another case of a missing girl of the same age group was booked by Rajupalem police in Guntur district. The parents have been asked to come here for identification of the bodies.
