NELLORE: Officials from various power projects and NEDCAP explained the students on the present power scenario, different ways of power generation, new technologies in power production and how to save energy. The engineers gave a power point presentation to the students at the ‘Electric Power Generation Scenario’ organised by Narayana Engineering College, here on Saturday.
Coastal Andhra Power Limited project director K. Prakasha Rao detailed the young engineers on the latest methods of power production. NEDCAP executive engineer M. Kameshwara Rao explained the need to produce energy through biomass, gas, diesel, solar and wind energies.
The officials answered to the questions posed by the students on saving techniques, setting up of new power plants and on job opportunities for the young engineers.
